CSC Non-degree Scholarship Program

Program requirements

  1. The cooperation agreement between two partner universities must be signed before application, and need to clarify that credits taken at NPU should be recognized by the home university of students.

     The agreement signed by department or faculty level will not be efficient for scholarship program.

     

  2. The scholarship will be efficient from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. Students from the United States and Canada should study at NPU for at least 1 month. Other program students should stay at least 3 months.

  3. The location of partner university should match with the scholarship program. The applicants of ‘Special scholarship for students from World-known University’ should not be universities of the United States ,Europe and Canada.

  4. Sino-EU scholarship program can accept recommended students with other European nationalities. Other programs must to recommend students with native nationality.

 

Application and evaluation

  1. NPU will submit application to China Scholarship Council(CSC). The approved program need to renew again with the new program.

     

  2. The CSC will organize evaluation which focus on the content of the agreement, the discipline situation and curriculum design of domestic university, the quality of the partner university, and the implementation of the previous year.

     

  3. Important date of application acceptance and review: the agreement copy and application should be submitted to CSC before May 31th, 2023. The result is expected to noticed around July 15th.

 

Scholarship grant

  1. The funding standard of 2019 is RMB 3,000 yuan per month (1/12 of the total annual subsidy standard for the Chinese government scholarship for general scholars in 2019).

  2. CSC shall grant the scholarship according to the actual number of students enrolled.
