工商管理专业是管理学门类中实践性强、覆盖面最宽的一级学科。该既重视管理学与经济学基本理论和专业知识的学习,也注重管理方法与技能的训练,又重视学生分析和解决企业管理实际问题的能力和素质培养,及企业管理环节的掌握等。
本专业旨在培养具有良好法律法规意识、追求卓越的高尚品格,瞄准世界管理学发展的前沿,掌握坚实的管理科学基础与专业知识,探索管理学的新规律、积累新知识,创造新方法、并将新的发现付诸实践,为行业培养掌握现代化管理知识,具有组织管理能力、团队协作精神,富有开拓创新能力与领导能力、全球化视野的高级管理人才。
