To encourage academic excellence among international Master's and PhD students, the International College is pleased to announce the annual selection for the Star of Academic Achievement Award. This initiative aims to reward students who have achieved outstanding academic results in the past, setting an example for their peers and promoting academic engagement.

1. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:

·Full-time international Master's or Ph.D. students enrolled at Northwestern Polytechnical University;

·Have achieved academic results within the past one year(start from 2024. Nov.1^st to 2025 Nov. 1^st) , including but not limited to:

1.Publications in international journals;

2.Presentations at international academic conferences;

3.Obtaining patents or other significant academic achievements.

2. Submission Process

·Submission deadline: 16:00PM, November 28, 2025.

·Required materials:

1.Application Form

2.Supporting Materials in one PDF file:

§Electronic version of the paper and journal acceptance proof;

§Conference presentation materials (PPT or poster) and official conference record;

§Patent certificate or other relevant academic documentation;

·Submission: Please send all materials via email, email address: lyutt@nwpu.edu.cn. Please ensure that your email subject is formatted as “Star of Academic Application + Student ID”.

3. Selection and Announcement

The selection panel will review and evaluate submissions in accordance with the above criteria. The final selection of the Star of Academic will be announced after the review process.

4. Awards

·Honorary Award: Selected students will receive an honorary award in the college’s annual event.

·Supports and Opportunities:

1.Selected students will have the opportunity to join our Peer Tutor Team directly, enhancing their own teaching skills.

2.Selected students will have priority speaking or presentation opportunities at academic seminars or intercollegiate academic exchange events.
