On the afternoon of January 16th, President Song Baowei and Vice President Yue Xiao Kui, accompanied by their delegation, came to the Chang'an Campus and visited the international students staying on campus during the Spring Festival.
President Song Baowei held a warm and friendly conversation with over 20 student representatives from Kazakhstan, Honduras, Russia, Armenia, Egypt, Indonesia, Germany, Morocco, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, India, and Mongolia. He extended a sincere welcome to all international students who have chosen to study and pursue further education at NPU. He encouraged them to diligently study professional subjects and deepen their understanding of China. He also hoped they actively share stories about China and NPU with the world, promoting cultural exchanges and fostering mutual learning between Chinese and the global community.
Subsequently, President Song and Vice President Yue jointly presented the international students with auspicious Chinese New Year gifts and extended their heartfelt New Year greetings , hoping that the international students could also feel the warmth of the Spring Festival in China and share the happiness.
The international students expressed their sincere gratitude for the care and concern they received from the university. Despite being far from home, they felt a sense of warmth and belonging, akin to a family environment. They expressed their determination to study hard, deepen their understanding of China, and strive to become ambassadors of Chinese culture. Additionally, They also voiced their enthusiasm to contribute to the university's development goal of becoming world-renowned in the fields of aviation, aerospace, and navigation（天下工大，世界三航）.
