To ChineseGovernmentScholarship Students at NPU:
According to the requirements of the annual review method for the Chinese Government Scholarship, China Government Scholarship students who will on schedule continue study at NPU next year must participate in this annual review. Students who fail to take part in the scholarship review without justifiable reasons will face scholarship cancellation. Here are the related matters of this annual review:
I、Chinese Government Scholarship Annual Review
1. Review Targets
(1)．CSC students who continue to study at NPU in the 2018-2019 academic year，including undergraduates, master students, doctoral students and Chinese language students(except those who will graduate on schedule in 2018).
(2)．CSC doctoral students who will graduate on schedule in the July of 2018 but apply for graduation extension and meet the extension requirements(except these doctoral students who had already applied for one year graduation extension in 2017);
(3)．Students who faced scholarship suspension or reduction of some scholarship last year because they failed to meet certain requirements.
2. Review Methods
(1)．NPU checks the academic records and comprehensive performances of the scholarship students in an all-round way and puts forward the scholarship review suggestions on the basis of the check results: continue to issue scholarship, suspend scholarship, resume scholarship and cancel scholarship. International College will collect these scholarship review suggestions and the scholarship review suggestions will be submitted to CSC for final review.
3. Review Steps
(1). April 12-16
Related CSC students download and print attachment 1: "China Scholarship Council Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status” (double-side printing). Students themselvesjust fill in the first pageaccordingly. And related CSC students must hand the form to international secretary of related schools ( eg. School of Aeronautics) before April 15.
(2).April l7-25
Related schools will notify related students to take part in the Review meeting held by different schools for the completion of second page of the form.
(3). Before 12:00a.m.April 26
Schools’ international secretaries hand these forms to international office. Students’ scholarship will be canceled if the submission of forms are late.
(4) .BeforeApril 30
International office publicize these review results and submit them to CSC.
II、Graduation extension for some doctoral students meeting the requirements of CSC
1. Review Targets
(1). For those CSC final year doctoral students who are on schedule to graduate before July 2018, abide by rules and regulations can’t graduate on account of special reasons can apply for graduation extension;
(2). For those students who had already applied for graduation extension in 2017 can’t take part in extension any more. For CSC only approve CSC doctoral students graduation extension once and only for one year.
