Academic integrity is the cornerstone of higher education and the foundation of your academic achievements. It represents a commitment to the principles of honesty, responsibility, fairness, and respect in all academic endeavors.

学术诚信是高等教育的基石，也是学术成果产出的基础。它体现了在所有学术活动中对诚实、责任、公平和尊重原则的坚定承诺。

To maintain the highest standards of academic conduct, we call on every student to strictly adhere to the following principles:

为保持最高的学术行为标准，我们呼吁每一位学生严格遵守以下原则：

1.Produce Original Work保证作品的原创性

All assignments, theses, and research must be your own intellectual efforts. Acts of plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data are strictly prohibited and will lead to severe consequences. A paper without supporting experimental records at the original data level also constitutes academic fraud.

所有的作业、论文和研究都必须是你独立的研究成果。严禁抄袭、捏造或篡改数据等行为，违者将面临严厉后果。没有原始实验数据及相关实验记录的文章也涉嫌学术造假。

2.Seek Supervisor’s Approval for Publications

发表论文时需获得导师批准

If you intend to publish a paper listing the university as the first affiliation, you must obtain explicit approval from your supervisor before submission. This requirement ensures the quality of academic output and aligns with the university’s research ethics and policies. Publications without the supervisor's signature and quality confirmation will not be recognized by Northwestern Polytechnical University.

如果你计划发表论文并将本校作为第一单位，必须在投稿前获得导师的同意。这一要求旨在保证学术成果的质量，并确保你的研究符合学校的学术伦理和政策。公开发表没有导师署名及质量确认的文章，我校将不予认可。

3.Acknowledge the Work of Others

正确引用他人研究成果

Proper citation of sources is essential in academic writing. Failing to credit the contributions of others constitutes academic misconduct.

在学术写作中，确保正确引用来源至关重要。未能标明他人贡献的行为属于学术不端。

4.Ensure Ethical Research Practices

遵守学术研究伦理

Conduct research responsibly, with honesty and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Misrepresentation of research results undermines the integrity of academia.

在研究中应以负责任的态度开展工作，在数据收集、分析和报告中保持诚实与准确。篡改研究结果将损害学术诚信。

5.Collaborate Appropriately

合理开展合作

While teamwork is encouraged in certain academic tasks, always ensure that your contributions and responsibilities are clearly defined and adhere to academic guidelines.

在某些学术任务中，团队合作是受鼓励的，但需确保你的贡献和职责明确，并符合学术规范。

6.Understand and Follow University Policies

熟悉并遵守学校规章制度

Familiarize yourself with the institution’s academic integrity guidelines. Ignorance of the rules does not excuse violations.

知悉学校的学术诚信相关规定，违反规定将无法被豁免。

As graduate students, your actions represent not only your personal character but also the image of our academic community. Breaches of academic integrity compromise trust, diminish academic achievements, and can result in academic and professional penalties.

作为一名研究生，你的行为不仅代表个人，也关乎学校的学术声誉。违反学术诚信将破坏自身信誉，贬低共有学术成果，并可能受到严厉惩罚。

We urge you to embrace these principles as a guiding framework for your academic journey.
