西北工业大学航空学院历史悠久,学院办学历史上溯1933年。学院拥有3个国家级科研平台,8个;还拥有动力学与强度国家专业实验室、航空气动力数值模拟航空科技重点实验室以及14个院级研究所。学院不断加强校企、校地的产学研合作。学院科学研究硕果累累。学院先后获得国家级科技三大奖10项。学院坚持国际化开放办学。建有2创新引智基地1个国际联合研究中心和3个联合研究机构,积极邀请来自美国、英国、法国、德国、日本、新加坡等国知名大学的专家学者来校访学讲学,开展了一系列实质性的国际合作研究和学术交流。



Time passes quickly as it witnesses the transformation of School of Aeronautics, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), from its first appearance in 1930s. During its development of nearly eighty years, NPU has been playing a vital and irreplaceable role in the national high-level innovative talents training of aeronautics and astronautics, knowledge innovation of aeronautical science and technology, and social service.Outstanding graduates from School of Aeronautics take the lead in the field of current China’s aeronautical engineering.

The school has made remarkable progress in scientific research and knowledge innovation of aeronautical science and technology with successively gaining 16 national science and technology awards, and 16 first prizes of the provincial or ministerial science and technology awards.

Faced with the new opportunity of the great national development of aeronautics and astronautics and the new demand of the national education long-term development planning and implementation outline, now, the faculty and staff of School of Aeronautics, NPU, have devoted themselves with a more pressing sense of responsibility, a stronger spirit of reform and innovation and a more passionate working enthusiasm to the cultivation of new-generation leading talents in aeronautics and astronautics, new and original scientific and technological innovation in aeronautics and related fields, and the service in the main battlefield of national defense and economic construction.

航空学院的飞行器设计学科是隶属于航空宇航科学与技术一级学科的二级学科,是国内最早获得一级学科博士学位授予权的单位,2007年被评为国家重点学科,2017年第四轮学科评估中被评为A+学科。        


飞行器设计学科涵盖飞行器多学科综合设计理论与方法、飞行器气动布局设计、飞行器可靠性安全性及健康管理理论与方法、飞行器结构综合设计方法、先进飞行技术研究、飞行器控制与信息工程、人机与环境工程等领域。重点研究方向包括航空器总体设计、航空器结构综合设计分析与优化、航空器可靠性工程、飞行动力学与飞行控制、航空器系统设计。 


依托航空实验教学示范中心、研究生创新实验中心等国家级教学平台,建成了1支省级教学团队,并与多所国外高校签署了联合培养协议,构建了留学生、本、硕、博贯通式培养机制,在顶尖人才培养、自主科技创新、国家社会服务和地方经济发展中发挥不可替代的重要作用。 


The major Flight Vehicle Design is a secondary discipline affiliated to the prima subject of Aeronautical and Astronautical Science and Technology in School of Aeronautics, which is the first batch in China to obtain the right to award doctoral degree of the prima subject. It was rated as the national key discipline in 2007 and the A+ discipline in the fourth round of discipline evaluation in 2017. 


The secondary discipline Flight Vehicle Design in School of Aeronautics covers the research fields such as multidisciplinary integrated design theory and method of aircraft, aerodynamic layout design of aircraft, reliability, safety and health management theory and method of aircraft, integrated design method of aircraft structure, advanced flight technology research, aircraft control and information engineering, man-machine and environmental engineering, etc. The key research directions include the conceptual design of aircraft, the integration design analysis and optimization of aircraft structure, the reliability engineering of aircraft, the flight dynamics and flight control, and the design of aircraft system.


Relying on national teaching platforms such as Aviation Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and Postgraduate Innovation Experimental Center, a provincial teaching team has been established, and joint training agreements have been signed with many foreign universities, thus constructing a training mechanism for international students, undergraduates, masters and doctoral students, which plays an irreplaceable role in the training of top talents, independent scientific and technological innovation, national social services and local economic development.

本专业重点面向航空飞行器的空气动力设计需求,通过基础课程和专业必修课程的学习,使研究生掌握空气动力学和流体力学的基础理论和相关数学基础。同时,通过专业必修和选修课的合理搭配选修,使研究生在学科的某一研究方向上提升专业深度,形成初步的兴趣方向。

本专业的研究方向主要分为:

1)飞行器设计空气动力学,包括飞行器先进气动布局设计,先进翼型与机翼、直升机旋翼、螺旋桨的气动设计,多学科优化设计技术;

2)计算流体力学,包括复杂外形网格生成,高效高精度计算格式,湍流模型,复杂流场数值模拟分析技术;

3)实验空气动力学,包括飞行器气动特性的低速和高速风洞实验研究方法,复杂流动机理实验测量和流场显示技术,洞壁干扰修正技术,风洞控制技术;

4)多学科耦合空气动力学,包括气动噪声,流固耦合力学,气动光学,气动//结构耦合;

5)流动控制,包括主被动流动控制方法,新型流动控制方法及机理探索。


The major Fluid Mechanics focuses on the aerodynamic design requirements of aircraft. Through learning basic courses and compulsory courses, graduate students can master the basic theories and relevant mathematical foundations of aerodynamics and fluid mechanics. At the same time, through learning professional compulsory courses and relevant elective courses, graduate students can enhance their professional depth in a certain research direction of the discipline and form a preliminary interest direction. 

The research directions of this major are the following :

(1) aerodynamics of aircraft design, including advanced aerodynamic layout design of aircraft, aerodynamic design of advanced airfoils and wings, helicopter rotors and propellers, and multidisciplinary optimization design technology; 

(2) Computational fluid dynamics, including complex configuration mesh generation, high-efficiency and high-precision calculation schemes, turbulence modeling, complex flow field numerical simulation analysis techniques; 

(3) Experimental aerodynamics, including low-speed and high-speed wind tunnel experimental research methods for aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft, complex flow mechanism experimental measurement and flow field display technology, tunnel wall interference correction technology, wind tunnel control technology; 

(4) Multidisciplinary coupled aerodynamics, including aerodynamic noise, fluid-structure coupling mechanics, aero-optics, aerodynamic/thermal/structural coupling; 

(5) Flow control, including active and passive flow control methods, new flow control methods and mechanism exploration.

Aircraft Structures and Airworthiness Technology


航空器结构与适航技术是一门以力学为理论基础,研究航空器结构设计、结构强度分析及适航符合性验证技术的应用学科。重点研究飞行器结构设计及飞行器结构在复杂载荷工况作用下的强度、刚度、稳定性、耐久性、损伤容限、完整性、可靠性及其适航符合性验证技术。


方向1:飞行器结构与强度设计技术,重点开展轻质结构设计与强度分析方法、结构耐久性设计方法与应用技术研究;


方向2:先进材料力学与应用技术:重点开展复合材料、高温合金、高温陶瓷、微纳结构等先进材料的力学特性分析,及先进材料/结构一体化设计理论;


方向3:飞行器结构动强度设计及分析技术:重点开展多物理场条件下结构动力学行为分析、动态载荷预计,动强度分析与寿命预测、新型/智能结构动力学优化设计;


方向4:飞行器结构适航验证技术:为满足适航法规要求,开展关键适航条款(结构振动、颤振、鸟撞、损伤容限与疲劳评定、复合材料结构等)的适航性分析及试验技术研究。


The major Aircraft Structure and Airworthiness Technology is an applied discipline with mechanics as the theoretical basis, studying aircraft structure design, structural strength analysis and airworthiness appliance verification technology. This subject focuses on the structural design for aircrafts and the strength, rigidity, stability, durability, damage tolerance, integrity and reliability of aircraft structures under the complex load conditions, along with the corresponding airworthiness appliance verification technology.


Direction 1: Aircraft structure and strength design technology, including the lightweight structure design and strength analysis methods, structural durability design methods and relevant applied technologies;


Direction 2: Advanced material mechanics and applied technology, including the mechanical characteristic analysis of advanced materials such as composite materials, superalloys, high-temperature ceramics and micro-nano structures, and incorporate design theory of advanced materials or structures;


Direction 3: Aircraft structural dynamic strength design and analytical technology, including the structural dynamic behavior analysis and dynamic load anticipation under multi-physical field conditions, the dynamic strength analysis and lifetime prediction, and the novel or intelligent structural dynamic optimization design;


Direction 4: Aircraft structural airworthiness verification technology, including the airworthiness analysis and testing technique on critical airworthiness regulations, such as structural vibration, flutter, bird-strike, damage tolerance and fatigue assessment and composite material structure, in order to fulfill the airworthiness regulation requirements.
