First batch: November 15, 2022, to March 15, 2023

Q2 ：本科申请者是否可以申请中国政府奖学金？

Can undergraduate applicants apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC scholarship)?

A：可以。但本科生只能申请中国政府奖学金国别双边项目TYPE A（通过当地使领馆或教育部申请）。该项目要求学生必须选择中文授课项目，在正式学习专业课之前，汉语水平不达标的学生可以在指定中国高校进行1年的汉语补习。对于中国政府奖学金自主招生项目TYPE B，我校只支持研究生阶段学习。英文授课的本科申请学生，建议选择申请校长奖学金。

Yes. However, undergraduate program applicants can only apply for Chinese government scholarship - bilateral scholarship program TYPE A (offered by local Chinese embassy or Ministry of Education). The program requires students to choose Chinese-taught program, and for those who cannot reach the proficiency of HSK 4 need to take one year's Chinese language study in designated Chinese universities. For TYPE B, NPU only supports postgraduate program study. English-taught undergraduate applicants are suggested to apply for the NPU President Scholarship.

Q3 ：本科生奖学金是4年吗？

Will the scholarship cover 4-year study?

A：是的。但奖学金每年都会重新评估，挂科或者出现违规违纪现象的学生将会被取消奖学金。优秀的学生也有机会升级奖学金。

Yes. However scholarships will have annual review, one who fail courses or violate the rules and regulations will be canceled scholarship. Students who perform very well also have the opportunities to upgrade scholarships.

Q4 ： 我想要申请双学位，请问我可以选择双学位吗？您有什么推荐吗？

I want to apply for a dual degree. Can I choose a dual degree? Do you have any recommendations?

A：如果你是新生，我们只能接受申请人一次仅申请一个项目。 请先做出自己的决定。

If you are a new applicant, we could only accept applicant to apply only one program at a time. Please make your own decision first.

A：如果你是某个大学的在校生，如果你的学校与西工大有双学位的协议，你可以向你的学校提交申请。

If you are a on-campus student of your university, you can contact your university to check that whether there is a agreement regarding dual degree between your university and NPU, if yes, you can apply through your university.

Q5 ：请问我是和中国学生一起上课吗？

Will I take class together with Chinese students?

A：是否跟中国学生上课取决于培养方案与具体的选课情况。

Whether taking classes with Chinese students depends on the cultivation program from academic schools and the situation of the course selection.
