Application requirements

Those in natural sciences and engineering shall be under 45 and those in social sciences shall be under 55; overseas applicants shall with full associate professorships or the equivalent in prestigious foreign universities, domestic applicants shall with full professorships or the equivalent;applicants shall work in NPU on a full-time basis since signing agreement.

2)Chair Professors of Cheung Kong Scholars

Application requirements

Applicants shall with full professorships or the equivalent in prestigious universities and work in frontline of overseas teaching and scientific research; applicants shall work for more than 2 months per year at NPU

Salaries and Benefits

30,000 RMB per month from central government（This lump-sum bonus will be exempted from personal income tax）；30,000 RMB per month from NPU（pre-tax），which will pay as the actual time of fillingposition; scientific research platform fund (upon negotiation); providing expert apartment

3)Cheung Kong Young Scholars

Application requirements

Those in natural sciences and engineering shall be under 38 and those in social sciences shall be under 45; applicants shall have doctoral degree and work in frontline of teaching and scientific research; domestic applicants shall have Deputy Senior Professional Technicians and above; applicants shall work in NPU on a full-time basis since signing agreement.

Salaries and Benefits

Annual state subsidy for Cheung Kong Young Scholars (100,000 RMB, tax-free); Annual salary (350,000 RMB, pre-tax); providing housing or 500,000 RMB housing monetization subsidies; 100,000 RMB settling-in allowance; providing research start-up fund and support for scientific research platform
